Music & Interview Requests
Thank you for your interest in working with WNHU.
As a student-operated radio station at the University of New Haven, WNHU provides students with hands-on experience in music programming, broadcasting, podcasting, and content production. In keeping with this educational mission, all music submissions and interview requests follow a student-driven review process.
Music Submissions
Music considered for inclusion in WNHU's automated programming is reviewed and selected by our Music Committee. Artists, publicists, record labels, and representatives are welcome to submit music for consideration.
Music suggestions may be sent to our Music Committee at:
Please note that submitting music does not guarantee airplay or inclusion in WNHU's automated programming.
On-Air Interviews & Podcast Features
WNHU welcomes inquiries regarding artist interviews, guest appearances, and other on-air features. Some opportunities may also be incorporated into a podcast.
All interviews and features are produced and hosted by our student show hosts. While Bruce Barber, WNHU's General Manager, and the student Station Manager provide oversight and ensure opportunities align with WNHU's programming standards and policies, these opportunities are ultimately student-driven as part of WNHU's educational mission.
If you believe your project would be a good fit for WNHU's programming, we encourage you to explore our current lineup of shows and reach out to the student show host whose program best aligns with your project. Student show hosts determine which guests and features are the best fit for their programs.
General Information
WNHU receives a high volume of music submissions and interview requests throughout the year. While we appreciate every submission, we may not be able to respond to every inquiry.
Thank you for your interest in WNHU and for supporting student broadcasting at the University of New Haven.
